Did you know the Maya didn't have just one calendar? In fact, they had many. They had a religious calendar (tzolk'in) which consisted of 260 days, an agricultural calendar (haab) which consisted of 365 days and a long count calendar which fixed dates in absolute time and had been around since August 13, 3114 BCE, when the current world was created, according to Maya belief.
